I’m a born and raised Austinite (meaning I’m a little bit of a hippie-at-heart) with an endless curiosity about romantic relationships and how to create a satisfying life.
Through Practice Intimacy’s YouTube channel, podcast, and world-class online training programs, I help people like you feel worthy of love, turn-on, and a blissful life.
One question I get all the time is, “How on earth did you get started with all of this?”
When I was eight years old, I saw Good Will Hunting for the first time. Do you remember the cathartic scene where Robin Williams says, “It’s not your fault... It’s not your fault...” Well, that two-hour cinematic adventure set me on the path to becoming a therapist and trauma-recovery expert.
However, it wasn’t until my senior year of high school that I discovered therapists could specialize in working with couples and sexuality. I remember thinking to myself, there will never be a better job for me in this lifetime! And I was right. I love working with clients who want to feel more love, connection, and passion with their partners.
I’ve been insatiably curious about human relationships for as long as I can remember. I wanted to know, what exactly is it that makes people feel genuinely happy, satisfied, and loveable? Why do some people struggle in love and life, while others find a way to thrive?
I was also passionate about a multitude of seemingly unconnected things: sex, poetry, psychology, Tantra yoga, neuroscience, spirituality, fitness, and philanthropy, just to name a few.
After almost a decade of school, post-graduate training, and thousands of hours with clients- I realized that my unusual combination of interests and skills could help others create the relationships they crave.
I wanted to share the tools and practices I was learning with more than 40 people a week, so I decided to create Practice Intimacy! While continuing to see a full case-load of clients to keep a roof over my head, I slowly started building an online education platform from the ground up.
