Relationship 101 | Attachment Theory Part 1: History and Research
You've probably heard of Attachment Theory: It's a child development model created by John Bowlby and extensively researched by Mary Ainsworth.
Based on our early relationships with caregivers, children develop beliefs and behaviors in relationships called attachment styles. There are four types of attachment: secure, anxious, avoidant, and disorganized.
In this video, I'll share some of the history of Attachment Theory and a little description of each of the styles.
I hope you enjoy learning a little more about this way of understanding relationship dynamics! Much love!
